Active⁺ has been awarded the ACC Integrated Care Pathways (ICP) Musculoskeletal contract. We are one of eight suppliers who will be delivering this national programme commencing March 1st 2024. The ICP contract is designed for patients, putting them at the centre of their recovery by focusing on patient outcomes and their rehabilitation goals.

• The ACC Integrated Care Pathways MSK (knee, shoulder, lumbar spine) programme is a fully funded programme starting on March 1st 2024. 
• As an allied health led company, we have rehabilitation at our core which translates into strong support for all of our independent physio clinics and allied health providers.
• You can maintain your clinical autonomy while delivering the ICP MSK contract through Active⁺.
• You will have control over bundle funding to enable optimum client care and strong financial remuneration.
• We will provide the infrastructure which means we are removing the hassle and administrative burden for you.

What is the ICP MSK programme?

The ICP programme is the expansion and national rollout of the successful Escalated Care Pathway (ECP) pilot run over the last 4 years.

The fully funded programme is designed for clients with injuries likely to require surgical review or intervention in three main body sites: Knee, Shoulder and Lumbar Spine. Integrated care pathways are designed for the clients to be able to access connected and streamlined care under a fully funded model.

Key features of the ICP MSK programme:

1. Comprehensive Physiotherapy Care: Fully funded comprehensive pre and post operative physiotherapy management
2. Surgeon Assessment and Management: Expert evaluation and guidance throughout the patient’s journey.
3. Vocational Support: Return-to-work planning and support tailored to individual needs.
4. Additional Services: Access to social work, psychology, dietetics, or cultural services if required.
